At the first fluid change we sent samples of the factory fluid to Blackstone Laboratories to see what was going on inside.
Elevated metals and silicon, which Blackstone attributes to break-in wear and factory assembly sealant from the original fill. They expect it to improve with each change. Fluid replaced with BMW GL-5.

A set of custom 22" forged monoblock wheels, designed for this car, stress-tested in simulation, then machined from solid aluminum. They're on a boat now.
Before any metal was cut, the manufacturer ran the design through finite-element analysis (FEA): a computer simulation of each test from the Japanese VIA wheel standard. The colors show stress: blue is barely loaded, red is close to the limit. All three tests passed.
A cover for the factory tow hitch receiver, so the back looks clean when we're not towing.
The factory rubber bushings in the front thrust arms were swapped for Powerflex Street polyurethane bushings. Polyurethane is firmer than rubber and holds up longer, so the front end responds more sharply to the steering. The old bushings came out with some effort; the new ones went in clean.
Done at home at 42,782 miles: pull the arm, press the old bushing out, press the new one in, bolt it back up.
A full set of genuine BMW floor mats for all five positions, bought new.
The driver's window switch surround and door handle trim had chipped paint, so both were replaced with new genuine BMW parts.
